City of Guelph
YSEC was hired by the City of Guelph to support the Guelph Energy Efficiency Retrofit Strategy. The project involved raising awareness about the benefits of the program for the local economy, society and environment at large.
The aim was to establish a solid supporter base in order to encourage local government to introduce legislation to include the program in the 2017 City budget. This would allow Guelph to serve as a positive example to communities across the GTA and Canada.
YSEC helped identify key stakeholder groups and developed and comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategy that included educational workshops and information sessions.

Our team helped them develop a list of grant opportunities to review and apply to. We also assembled documents needed to apply to the grants including business plans, letters of intent and existing funding.
